The St Lawrence Seaway and Great. Lakes form the maritime route for delivery of goods and services to and from the heartland of America. The heartland is home to many natural resources and innovative manufacturing products as well as maritime and non-maritime labor, The US Great Lakes Shipping Association (USGLSA) provides support to the ocean vessel operators, through their agents, for port calls on US Great Lakes. The Association collaborates with aligned groups focusing on efficiency, security, safety and environmental concerns associated with the Great Lakes port calls.
