American Great Lakes Ports Association Annual Conference

Great Lakes St Lawrence States and Provinces' Resolution
The GSPG adopted a Resolution noting the economic benefits of the Great Lakes Maritime Transportation System and the importance of "adoption of policies that improve maritime transparency, efficiency, accountability, and regulatory harmony." See, https://gsgp.org/media/gzgnqdk1/
Proposed Rule for 2026 Great Lakes Pilotage Rates
The Coast Guard published the 2026 Annual Review and Revisions to Methodology on September 5th. The opportunity to comment closed on October 8th. In addition to proposed rates, there is a proposed change to methodology. The proposed rates are a product of eliminating provisions to the "working capital fund."
